WHAT IT MEANS TO BE BORN AGAIN

In this exciting post, Pastor stated that, to be 'Born Again' does not mean to have your sins forgiven. The truth is - your sins were forgiven on the cross even before you received salvation. Pastor further cited that, what the Sinner needs today, is more than forgiveness of sins. What the Sinner needs is a brand new spirit. That is, a change of his unregenerated spirit man. Being Born Again is not having your sins forgiven. Being Born Again is you receiving a brand new spirit. This brand new spirit is the Christ-Spirit. Pastor also asserted that, being Born Again does not mean changing your behavior or character, contrary to the ideology of religion; although it produces this in a matter of time as you allow the word of God to keep renewing your mind. But, that doesn't mean it's a change of behavior. Having good behavior or character doesn't mean a person is Born Again. Being Born Again, is actually more than having good behavior. It's a change of spirit. The moment anybody becomes Born Again, what God gives them immediately is a brand new spirit. And this new spirit actually detest anything unrighteousness. Transformation in a Believer comes through enlightenment, as the Preacher begins to unveil to the Believer - his identity in Christ.
